Yossi
is the Australian Workers' Union national Occupational Health
and Safety
Officer. Previously he was
the Australian Council of Trade Unions' Occupational health
and Safety
Unit's Research Officer and
its director for three years. He holds
a PhD in psychology from Latrobe University, Melbourne, and
a BSc (Hons) from Monash University. His PhD was awarded for
research in the maritime industry (occupational stressors and
shiftwork in marine pilots).
Yossi
is a dual career person. He spent twelve years in the food
industry, both within a large retail organisation, training
as an executive, and in his own businesses. He has published
extensively in the OHS field and edits a national AWU magazine,
Say Safety. He
lives in Victoria's Macedon Ranges.
