Jeff Sparrow is the co-author of Radical Melbourne: A Secret History and Radical Melbourne 2: The Enemy Within.

He has been a political activist, a health worker and a bookseller and is now completing a PhD at RMIT.

He is reviews editor of Overland magazine, and writes regularly for it and other publications.

His book on Guido Baracchi and communism will be published by MUP in 2007.

He blogs at leftwrites.
